Texas, Plainview, White Energy Ethanol « Thread Started on Apr 19, 2007, 11:14am » Texas, Plainview, White Energy Ethanol Fagen Inc is the contractor for the White Energy 100-million gallons/year Ethanol Plant to be built at Plainview Texas. The plant should be operational by mid-first quarter 2008. _________

Indiana, Renyolds, Verisun Ethanol « Thread Started on Apr 19, 2007, 10:43am » Reynolds, Indiana, also known as BioTown Fagen Inc. will began construction of an Ethanol refinery for Varisun Energy Corporation in May 2007. Construction of the plant will take approximately 16 months. The plant is being engineered by ICM, Inc., of Colwich, Kansas _________

MS. Tupelo, Toyota Plant « Thread Started on Mar 11, 2007, 8:15am » Hill Bros. Construction awarded contract to clear site for Toyota's new $1.3 billion manufacturing plant northwest of Tupelo Mississippi. Toyota expects to begin laying foundation on the plant by the fall, move equipment into the facility by 2008 and begin production of Highlanders by mid-2009. Recent Toyota plants have been built by both union and merit shop labor under the provisions of a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Toyota PLAs have allowed Merit Shops to bypass the union hiring halls for their core craft employees. _________

Borger, Chevron Phillips Chemical. « Thread Started on Apr 8, 2007, 9:58pm » Zachry Construction Corporation will provide construction service for Chevron Phillips Chemical in the construction of a polyphenylene sulfide plant in Borer Texas. Construction is to begin immediately. Jacobs Engineering has been selected for engineering and procurement. _________

OH. Freemont, Renewable fuels, Ethanol « Thread Started on Apr 8, 2007, 9:55pm » Fagen will begin construction of Ohio Renewable Fuels ethanol plant in September. _________

Attended a Groundbreaking ceremony for a 100M/gallon ethanol plant at Dyersville, Iowa. NJ, Trenton, Mercer Station « Thread Started on Mar 28, 2007, 7:00pm » The Shaw Group will install emissions controls at Mercer Station near Trenton, New Jersey. The $440M project is scheduled for completion in early 2010. _________

LA. Geismer, Huntsman Chemical Plant « Thread Started on Mar 10, 2007, 10:49am » Shaw Group Inc. received a construction management and services contract for the Geismer, LA. Huntsman Chemical’s maleic anhydride plant. Shaw Group's responsibilities will include site work preparation, structural steel supply and erection, and the installation of mechanical equipment, piping systems, electrical components and instrumentation. The plant is expected to become operational in the fourth quarter of 2008. _________

The Texas Corridor Toll Road « Thread Started on Oct 6, 2006, 8:23pm » Zachery: The Texas Corridor Toll Road Construction still in legal and PR debacle. Zachry and Cintra (a Spanish firm) propose to build the 600 mile 50 year project as an alternative to I 35 for $8 Billion. Plans include separate lanes for passenger vehicles and large trucks, freight railways, high-speed commuter railways and infrastructure for utilities including water lines, oil and gas pipelines, and lines for electricity, broadband and other telecommunications services. _________

Mobilization for the new facility is scheduled for January 2007. The facility will consist of four (4) Siemens 501FD combustion turbines powering four (4) Vogt HRSGs an done Mitsubishi 420MW steam turbine. _________

New Albany, Duke Energy « Thread Started on Feb 22, 2007, 10:08am » Duke Energy Services - Gallagher Station Units 1-4 TIC is the general contractor to upgrade Cinergy's air pollution control equipment on four (4) existing power plants, as part of a system wide air quality control program. The Washington Group contract is for the offsite facilities, including those related to well pads, gathering pipelines, metering stations, separation facilities, interconnects to a gas plant to be installed by others
